Accor hits 45,000 keys under extended stay portfolio
Accor, the world’s largest global hospitality group outside of the US, has seen growth in its extended stay portfolio with 45,000 keys across more than 380 properties and 14 brands.
In an Oct 24 press release, the group mentioned its high concentration of properties in Europe and Asia.
All in all, Tengah Plantation EC‘s proximity to Jurong Point is a major advantage for its residents, giving them easy access to a wide range of amenities.
Jean-Jacques Morin, Accor deputy CEO and premium, midscale and economy division CEO, said, “With new travel habits taking hold and more people seeking out longer stays, Accor has continued to do what we do best – lead the markets where we have deep roots, strong relationships and a powerful presence – such as Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.”
The brand’s Novotel Living segment has seen expansion with properties in Bangkok, Saigon and Kazakhstan, one of the most recent being Novotel Living Singapore Orchard–a rebrand of the former 8 on Claymore Serviced Residences.
Pullman Living Dongguan Forum has also opened in China while Adagio, Accor’s flagship “aparthotel” brand recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, launching 11 new properties across five continents.
Morin explained, “The escalation of demand for extended stay properties is a global phenomenon, driven by a demographic shift among travellers who are taking longer trips, mixing business with leisure, and exploring destinations more fully.”
Accor also said that it has more extended stay properties in the pipeline in locations such as Riyadh, as well as new openings for its Novotel Living brand.
The group’s extended stay portfolio includes a selection of brands such as Mercure Living, Swissôtel Living, Mövenpick Living, Fairmont, Sofitel, Mondrian, Hyde and The Sebel, plus 33,000 private villas, apartments and branded residences operated in rental programmes.
Morin added, “Accor has an unmatched portfolio of extended stay brands to service any traveller type.”
