ERA research head Nicholas Mak leaves firm

Nicholas Mak, after nearly four years with ERA Realty Network, has stepped down from his role as head of research and consultancy with the firm. The announcement was made by Eugene Lim, ERA’s key executive officer, on March 27, who commented that they extended their sincere appreciation for Mak’s contributions to ERA and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Mak joined ERA in June 2019 and is now clearing his leave ahead of beginning his next career stage. He shared his experience working at the big property agency: “It has been an exciting four years working in ERA. This is the first time that I have worked in a big property agency. The past four years here have been a fruitful learning experience about the culture and practices in the real estate agency business.”

Prior to joining ERA, Mak was the head of research and consultancy at ZACD and SLP International, as well as having led research teams at Knight Frank and Chesterton International.

In other news, the collective sale of Hong Heng Mansions has been launched at $133 mil; the first runner-up in the Asia Pacific Top Achiever realtor was named; and Raymond Leong was appointed as Chief Technology Officer.
