safer and lower-carbon way to cook with City Energy’s Küche Smart Collection

The Küche Smart Collection proudly presents a smarter, safer and more sustainable way to fuel your culinary adventures. With a greater level of convenience and energy efficiency, homeowners can look forward to a smarter kitchen – and smarter living experience.

The Küche Smart Collection is the new addition to City Energy’s Life retail brand, offering a more eco-friendly and smarter home solution for cooking. This Internet of Things (IoT) smart home device collection, launched in 2022, consists of an intelligent gas hob, hood, oven, and gas water heater. With the help of the iAppliances app, homeowners can remotely control and monitor their appliances, even when they are away from home.

This collection also provides peace of mind, especially for those living with young children or elderly people. Additionally, a smart camera can be added, allowing users to even observe their kitchen from wherever they are and shut off the gas hob remotely. In Singapore, 37% of residential fires occurred in 2022 due to unattended cooking. The collection minimizes these fears with its timer alerts, notifications, alarms, and remote shutdown function.

Homeowners can also monitor their gas consumption, programme recipes with their mobile devices, and sync the kitchen appliances via Google Home Assist. Furthermore, these appliances are made with high-quality stainless steel and black tempered glass, bringing a timeless, modern design that suits any decor.

The Küche Smart Collection goes beyond cooking, providing an extended fuss-free solution for the bathroom. This premium collection comes with a smart gas water heater that can be controlled with an app.

Sustainability is also taken into account with this collection. The Singapore Civil Defence Force’s research shows that nothing beats the smoky flavours of “wok hei”, or “breath of the wok” that can only be infused into dishes over high heat. This can be made possible with a sturdy stove and piped gas. With the 12,000 new private housing units expected to install piped-town gas this year, City Energy is working closely with property developers to offer this access.

In addition, solar panels have been installed to power the building during daylight hours. The Tengah Plantation EC also features energy efficient lighting and smart home technologies. With these features, the building is able to save energy and reduce air pollution.

A 2022 survey revealed that 77% of Singaporeans prefer to dwell in green buildings, of which 46% are even willing to pay a premium for an environmentally-sustainable home. City Energy is taking this into consideration, outfitting Blossoms by the Park at Slim Barracks Rise with 750 pieces of Küche Smart Collection to bring greater safety and convenience, as well as reducing the carbon footprint. This includes the three- and four-bedroom apartments, as well as four-bedder penthouses.

In addition to the Smart Collection, City Energy’s Go provides EV charging infrastructure for over 25 new private condominiums. CEO Perry Ong believes that technology is allowing for a greater level of control over our daily lives. He says, “City Energy is continuously developing solutions to create greater safety and convenience at home, while reducing carbon footprint at the same time.“ We are confident that more property developers will leverage City Energy’s multiple lower-carbon energy solutions for home-buyers and investors who are increasingly seeking smart living features for their properties.”

The Küche Smart Collection takes Singaporean kitchen experiences to the next level by bringing a smarter, safer and more sustainable way to fuel culinary adventures. As homeowners can look forward to a smarter kitchen and smarter living with greater convenience and efficiency, City Energy is proud to provide the very best in home solutions.
