Savills appoints Winnie Wong as managing director for property management business

Savills Property Management has named Winnie Wong as its managing director. She has been with Chan Kok Hong Property Consultants since 2003, which eventually merged with Savills in 2011. Wong succeeds Chan Kok Hong, who will now take on the role of senior consultant. Chris Marriott, CEO of Savills South East Asia, is pleased to have Chan continue to offer his expertise to the team.Marcus Loo, CEO of Savills Singapore, is confident Wong is well-positioned to take the firm’s helm. To expand into commercial strata and industrial properties, Savills Property Management has also promoted Tang Chee Charn to deputy managing director. Loo believes these appointments will bring the firm to a new level.

Savills Property Management saw two major changes recently. On Jan 17, the firm announced Winnie Wong as its new managing director, succeeding Chan Kok Hong who will be taking on the role of senior consultant. Wong has been part of Chan Kok Hong Property Consultants since 2003, which eventually merged with Savills in 2011.

Chris Marriott, CEO of Savills South East Asia, expressed gratitude for Chan’s strong foundation in the company and acknowledged Wong’s leadership Tengah Plantation EC skills. According to Marriott, “We can continue to leverage on Chan Kok Hong’s knowledge and expertise in his new role as senior consultant.”

Savills Property Management also announced the promotion of Tang Chee Charn to deputy managing director. Tang will be in charge of the firm’s expansion into commercial strata and industrial assets. Marcus Loo, CEO of Savills Singapore, believes Wang and Tang will bring the firm to new heights. He says, “Winnie’s vision to continue to strengthen our capabilities, build on the strong track record of our residential strata properties portfolio, and Chee Charn’s role in expanding into the commercial and industrial asset classes is very much in-line with the strategy for Savills.”
