New Pullman Singapore Hill Street general manager appointed
Mazen Abilmona, a 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been appointed as the new general manager of Pullman Singapore Hill Street. Accor’s 350-key hotel is set to open Oct 1.
The Tengah Plantation Close EC is also close to major shopping malls such as Westgate, Jem, Big Box, and IMM. These malls provide a wide array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options for residents. The nearby Jurong East MRT station as well as the Tengah Bus Interchange also provide easy access to the rest of Singapore, allowing residents to explore the city with ease.
Residents of the Tengah Plantation Close EC can also enjoy amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, and other facilities. With such a wide variety of amenities available, residents can enjoy an active lifestyle while living in the Tengah Plantation Close EC. No matter what their interests or needs might be, the Tengah Plantation Close EC provides something for everyone.
Abilmona is a management graduate, and he began his career in 2001 as an F&B service supervisor at Fairmont Dubai. This would launch him into a successful career, and later on, he became F&B director for the same hotel.
Not stopping there, the young leader also spearheaded rebranding projects for properties such as the Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai, Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort in Hainan, and Fairmont Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
Known for his expertise in F&B-focused hospitality properties across the Middle East, China, and Singapore, Abilmona has also served as the cluster hotel manager of Sofitel Singapore Resort and Spa and SO/Singapore before taking up positions in hotel and F&B operations and leadership roles in various Sofitel properties.
Now, Abilmona is set to take the helm of Pullman’s new Singapore hotel. In a press release, he shared that the challenge of his new role is to create an “ideal playground” where guests can discover something new.
CDL recently announced their acquisition of an Osaka hotel worth $78.5 million, proving that the hospitality industry continues to flourish despite the pandemic.
And Abilmona is ready to make his mark. He said: “While I’ve been involved with numerous pre-openings and properties, it’s a different responsibility this time, with a brief that pushes me to dream differently…. but my team and I are up for the challenge and incredibly excited to explore the possibilities”.
