Momentus launches first serviced apartment

Momentus Hotels and Resorts, the hospitality arm of Chip Eng Seng Group, has launched its first ever serviced residence at 12 Shan Road. Formerly known as 12 On Shan, the building was purchased by a joint venture led by Roxy-Pacific in March 2020 for $86.5 million.

Tengah Plantation EC will feature a range of amenities for residents, including swimming pools, tennis courts, gymnasiums, and multi-function rooms. Residents will also be able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the nearby forest and park, as well as the convenience of nearby shopping and F&B outlets. The development is expected to be served by the Jurong Region Line, providing even more accessibility to the residents. Tengah Plantation EC, a new executive condominium, will be the largest in Singapore, offering 1,715 units. It will be completed by 2021 and offer a range of amenities such as swimming pools, gyms and multi-function rooms. Residents will also be able to enjoy the tranquility of the nearby forest and park, as well as the convenience of nearby shopping and F&B outlets. Additionally, the Jurong Region Line will improve accessibility for the development’s residents.

The accommodation consists of 99 serviced residences, with one and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 366 sq ft to 861 sq ft, as well as 398 sq ft studio apartments with integrated kitchenette and a living area. Guests at Momentus Serviced Residences Novena can look forward to amenities such as a fitness centre, swimming pool and a BBQ area.

Conveniently located near medical hubs such as Novena Medical Centre, Thomson Medical Centre and Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, as well as various shopping malls, Momentus Serviced Residences Novena is an eight-minute walk from the Novena MRT Station.

According to the Group’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Raymond Chia, the serviced apartment brings together character, local culture, heritage and architecture to deliver a stylish and comfortable sanctuary for guests. He adds that they look to provide re-imagined hospitality experiences, allowing visitors to make wonderful memories.

Meanwhile, Roxy-Pacific Holdings’ Executive Chairman Teo Hong Lim shares his optimism for the venture, eyeing the opportunities presented to them by an expanding market and the growing needs of travellers. He emphasizes on providing top-quality services to guests, be it on a short-term or long-stay basis.

Momentus Serviced Residences Novena is the brand’s second property in 2021, following their 442-key Momentus Hotel Alexandra located on Alexandra Road, which opened in March 2021.
