The LakeGarden Residences, the latest residential redevelopment of the former 99-year leasehold Lakeside Apartments on Yuan Ching Road, is set to launch on August 5th at just under $2,000 psf. With 306-units, and a mix of one to five-bedroom units, as well as four duplex penthouses, it has been considered one of the most anticipated project launches in 2023 – according to Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex.

The development is located within the up-and-coming Jurong Lake District, and consists of two 19-storey condominium blocks which are fronting the 90ha Jurong Lake Gardens. Property developer Wing Tai Asia recorded about 1,800 groups of visitors over two weekends of previews which began on July 22, mainly consisting of families.

A five-bedroom showflat and a scale model of the two 19-storey condominium blocks at LakeGarden Residences were displayed, with about 75% of the units having unblocked views of the greenery. Prices for the one-bedroom-plus-study units of 527 sq ft, start from $1.03 million ($1,954 psf), and three-bedders from 926 sq ft are from $1.8 million ($1,944 psf).

This marks the first new residential project in the Jurong Lake District in seven years, since Lake Grande in 2016 and LakeVille in 2014. The LakeGarden Residences offers a unique opportunity to invest in a burgeoning area of Singapore.
