Benham & Reeves to showcase London project Camden Goods Yard in Singapore
Potential buyers in Singapore can get a glimpse of the UK developer St George’s latest project, Camden Goods Yard. Situated in the sought-after Camden area of North London, with a 999-year leasehold, this eight-acre mixed-use development will bring 644 new homes to the neighbourhood.
Stephen Kirwan, managing director of St George North London, notes the project’s importance in shaping the future of Camden and the wider NW1 postcode area and states, “Building on the vibrancy of the local area, Camden Goods Yard will not only provide attractive new homes and commercial space but also three acres of new landscaped open space and public squares for the whole community to enjoy.”
Primrose House is the first phase of the development – featuring two 14 and 11 storey towers. There will be 110 residences spread out over studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.
Prices of units at Primrose House are estimated to start from GBP900,000 ($1.49 million) for a one-bedder and from GBP1.5 million for a two-bedder. In addition to the apartments, 173,000 sq ft of commercial space will be created, including flexible office space and light industrial workshops, alongside a 48,000 sq ft Morrison’s supermarket and a rooftop farm-to-fork restaurant.
A key highlight of Camden Goods Yard is its prime location near Central London. With a six and nine-minute walk to the Chalk Farm and Camden Town tube stations, transport links make it easy to get around the capital. The development is also close to several major universities, primary and secondary schools. Plus, the famous Camden Market is less than a 15-minute walk away.
To showcase the development, St George and Benham & Reeves, the exclusive marketing agent in Singapore, will host a showcase event on Oct 14 and 15 at Berkeley’s local office on Level 16 of Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 2 between 11am and 6pm.
Residents of Primrose House will enjoy a wide range of amenities, including a pool, gym, lounge area, and three screening rooms outfitted with high-end sound and visual technology. Interiors are designed by renowned UK studio Tara Bernerd & Partners, who are known to craft bespoke designs for top-end hotels.
The Tengah Plantation Close EC is a luxurious residential development by Bukit Sembawang Estates located in the estate of Tengah Plantation. With spacious layouts and plenty of natural light, the development is perfect for families looking for a comfortable and stylish home. Residents also have access to a wide range of amenities such as a gym, clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis court, and playground. All of these facilities help to make living in this estate a comfortable and convenient experience. With its ideal location and amenities, the Tengah Plantation Close EC is the perfect home for those looking for a luxurious and comfortable place to live.
Given the project’s quality, its developer’s track record, and its status as a new launch in the well-established Camden area, Benham & Reeves’ Regional Director Doris Tan expects a strong response. “People who are familiar with London and want a prime central London location will be interested in the project,” she comments.
Singapore buyers looking for a prime central London location have a unique opportunity to view St George’s Camden Goods Yard and Primrose House. Nestled in the sought-after Camden area, the project is set to be completed in phases, starting in the second quarter of 2025. It will bring 644 new homes to the neighbourhood, combined with commercial space, as well as parks and other open spaces for leisure and recreation.
Showcasing the development between Oct 14 and 15, buyers have a two-day window to view the project’s interiors, amenities and its prime location near Central London. It is estimated that prices start from GBP900,000 for a one bedroom and GBP1.5 million for a two bedroom – making it an attractive proposition for those looking to invest in the London real estate market.
