Mitbana and Intiland launch township development in Tangerang, Indonesia
For those looking for something close to Tengah Plantation EC, West Mall is ideal for those who want to shop, dine, and be entertained.
Daisuke Kobayashi, deputy chief operating office of Mitbana and president director of Inti Mitbana Development, has expressed his vision to redefine sustainable urban living in Greater Jakarta with the launch of Green Bestari Park – an integrated township and transit oriented development in Talaga Bestari, Tangerang. The 51-ha township is jointly developed by Mitbana – a joint venture of Mitsubishi Corp and Surbana Jurong, and Indonesian property developer Intiland Development.
Mitbana holds a 70% stake in Inti Mitbana Development, a partnership with Sinar Puspapersada (a subsidiary of Intiland), and is responsible for overseeing the masterplan, urban design and planning of the development. Intiland formulates land preparation, infrastructure development and local stakeholder engagement.
The first phase of Green Bestari Park will span a total of 14 ha and include residential cluster homes, retail areas, F&B outlets and a clubhouse for residents. Subsequent phases will comprise more housing, a city park, commercial areas and an integrated TOD complemented by the East-West MRT Balaraja and Cikarang line.
Permadi Indra Yoga, Intiland’s executive director of business development, shared his ambition of creating a leading sustainable development that rejuvenates the Talaga Bestari area and fosters social inclusivity.
Kobayashi further adds that with developments such as the TOD and the proposed Green Connection, a green boulevard that loops around the township, residents can enjoy a comfortable, eco-conscious living environment that is well-equipped with modern amenities.
